Gymnastics, Connection, and Personal Growth: A Chat with Diego
What inspired you to join Primal?
I wanted to do something more dynamic than just going to the gym or doing Pilates/Yoga. I was looking around and thought that learning to move my body in new ways would be the thing I needed, while also meeting new, lovely, and amazing people!
What was your first impression of Primal?
My first impression was that all the coaches are really passionate about what they do and genuinely want to see you improve. All the members are welcoming, super friendly, and supportive. To be honest, nothing has changed at all! Hahaha.
What was your first significant progress?
Hmmm, I would say my first progress was just getting over the fear of some simple tricks, such as the forward roll, cartwheels, and so on.
What skills are you currently working on?
I am working on getting a handstand, landing front flips properly, and my round-off.
What’s a favorite memory you have from your time at the gym?
It is hard to pick just one memory, but one of the things I love is that every time someone has been away for a month or more and they come back, everyone gets so happy and excited about their return. It’s such a lovely and heartwarming thing to witness.
