What inspired you to become a trainer, and what's your favorite part of coaching at Primal Gym?
I love helping people / children achieve things they have worked hard towards or something they were maybe scared of and they overcome that hurdle. I also enjoy the sense of community within the gym.
Can you share a success story from one of your clients that really motivates you?
I have only just started working at this gym but in my most recent session a gymnast went from trying something with full support and being quite cautious about the skill to then trying all by herself by the end of the session and she was super proud of herself and thankful for my help.
What's your go-to workout song or pump-up anthem?
Current favourite is Pleasure Chasers Remix by Joris Voorn.
Outside of the gym, what's your favorite way to stay active or recharge?
I enjoy exploring different cycle routes and finding peaceful places
What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone who's just starting their fitness journey?
Take it one day at a time, set realistic goals and believe in yourself
What's your favorite discipline to teach at Primal Gym and why?
I only coach gymnastics and I love it because I’ve always been passionate about sport and teaching.
What's something people might be surprised to learn about you?
I’ve had over 15 pets in my adult life!
